Thank you to everyone who supports our village phone box library by donating books and games.  It is a very valued village resource.  Please leave the floor clear so that people can get to the newspapers.  If the shelves are full, the charity shops in Portishead would be very happy to take donations of books.  [...]

The Parish Council is keen to improve the internet speed and stability in the village, which are currently amongst the least good in the country.  It is looking for residents' help, initially through notification of speed, and indications of interest in improvement.  Please see the attached flyer (which is also being delivered to each household).  [...]

The village's Book of Condolence for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been sent to North Somerset Council to be archived with others from across the county.  Many thanks to Portishead Funeral Services for providing the book, and The Black Horse for hosting it so appropriately.
