Road closures
There will be some work on the Portbury Hundred in June
*10th June , 9:30 AM – Jun 12, 3:30 AM with traffic lights
*12th June, 9:00 PM – Jun 13, 5:00 AM when the Portbury Hundred will be closed.
The Parish Council has been in touch with the Highways team at North Somerset Council several times recently about Caswell Lane being promoted and signposted as a diversion route. This time the Lane has not been listed and there is a long alternative diversion route that is on the website and will be signposted, however, we can expect that some motorists (and their Sat Navs) may still use the Lane as a shortcut.
Further closures:
*14th June is Portishead Carnival and much of Portishead and the bottom of Clapton Lane near the Show Field will not be passable.
